I Built Something

Drawer

You know I write a lot. Burnt Ground. Books. More manuscripts than sense. All of it means copying and pasting the same things all day — boilerplate, addresses, passages I'm moving between drafts.

So I built a tool. I called it Drawer, because that's what it is: a place to put things so you can find them again. I've used it every working day since. Over time it grew to handle whatever I threw at it — text, images, audio clips. Copy it once, keep it, paste it when you need it.

No cloud. No subscription. No telemetry phoning home to some server farm in Virginia. It runs on your Windows machine and minds its own business, which is more than I can say for most software in 2026.

I wasn't going to sell it. Then I figured if it saves me this much time, it might save you some too.
