Bruce Springsteen has released a six-track EP titled Land of Hope & Dreams that includes sharp criticism of the Trump administration, delivered during a concert in Manchester, England. In his remarks, Springsteen described the U.S. government as “corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous,” condemning its actions against civil rights, the poor, and immigrants.

President Trump reacted angrily on social media, calling Springsteen a “dried out ‘prune’” and telling him to “KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT” until he returned to the U.S., even hinting at retribution. Springsteen, unfazed, included the statements on his new release, reinforcing his long-standing support for Democratic figures like Kamala Harris.

Trump has since escalated his attacks, calling for a “major investigation” into Springsteen and other high-profile critics like Beyoncé, Oprah, and Bono.

Springsteen is in England and may not come back.
